Squim Lavender Festival

On Sunday Mitch and I decided to head out to the annual Squim (Skwim) Lavender Festival. Squim is the lavender capital of the world, but I don't know if that is self-appointed or seriously recognized, either way it sounds impressive. There were seven farms on tour that grew lavender. At each farm there was classes, a U-Pick, and farm tours. Mitch and I attended a session on raising chickens, checked out how lavender is distilled, and went on a tour of one of the farms we visited.
